Return and Refund Policy
At Makhmali Threads, we want you to be happy with your quilts, dohars, bed sheets, cushions, and table linen. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us at support@makhmalithreads.com
You may request a return within 7 calendar days of delivery.
To be eligible, the item must be:
- Unused, unwashed, and free from stains, odours, pet hair, or damage
- In its original condition and packaging, with tags attached where applicable
- Returned with all included pieces and accessories
- Accompanied by your order number and reason for return
- Must have manufacturing defect or damage or incorrect, to be supported by an unboxing video.
Items may be opened for inspection, but products that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery may not be accepted.
Items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery if you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered. Include your order number and clear photographs of:
- The item and the issue
- The packaging and shipping label
- Any visible damage to the parcel
After reviewing the issue, we may offer a replacement, repair where appropriate, or a full refund. If the issue was caused by an error on our part, Makhmali Threads will cover the applicable return shipping cost.
Change-of-mind returns
We do not accept change-of-mind returns.
Non-returnable items
We do not accept returns for items that are:
- Used, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer
- Stained, soiled, or affected by odour after delivery
- Made or modified specifically to a customer’s request
- Clearly marked as final sale
This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of approval. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account.
If only part of an order is returned, any approved refund will apply only to the eligible returned item or items.
Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will process an eligible refund instead.
Order cancellations
You may request cancellation before your order is dispatched by contacting support@makhmalithreads.com with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, but you may request a return after delivery if it meets the requirements above.
International orders
Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, or other border charges for change-of-mind returns. These charges are not refundable by Makhmali Threads unless required by applicable law or caused by an error on our part.

Makhmali Threads reserves the right to assess returns individually and to update this policy when needed. Where local law provides greater consumer rights, those rights will apply.
